Tidal Wave Student Ministries is the part of River of Life Church that is exclusively for guys and girls ages 12-18. We began meeting on Sunday mornings at the Regal 14 during regular service in March of 2007. As of January 2008 we are now enjoying gathering on Wednesday nights at the Moose lodge in downtown Doylestown.
Our goal is to create an environment where teens can come just as they are, without having to worry about what anyone will think of them, because everyone’s welcome. We also long for students to realize how crucial a relationship with God is and allow that relationship to positively influence the way they live their life.
Jon Brooker, Student Pastor
Jon has always grown up in Pennsylvania though he’s a southern boy at heart. He loves bringing southern hospitality into his relationships with both students and their parents. With diversified interests in music, drama, and so much more, he loves mixing things up when it comes to speaking to youth.
His belief is that so much of life is about balance and one of his goals is to show students how to balance the joy and childlikeness of faith in God with a constantly maturing relationship with their Heavenly Father.
